About me
Greetings!
Sometimes I’m asked questions about the person who taught me the skill to create purbas andother buddhist items, and what knowledge I rely upon to.
Everything I know I have learned by myself. It took me 7 years. I have started from copying out the details and sculptures brought from the East. At the same time I was working as jeweler and gaining experience. In my works I rely on original images, the works of the old masters and the Teachers and close to the Teachers’ people, taking into account traditional proportions and traditional appearance. I have showed all my items to the Teachers and presented some of them, at the same time figuring out what to fix or modify; many items have been blessed by the Teachers of different schools of Tibetan Buddhism, in the tradition of which I am working right now.

Workflow
All items displayed on the site are created by myself, not copied from the products of oriental masters. The initial model of items presented here are created by hand from materials such as clay sculpture and jewelry wax, some are created directly from metal.
The main work is made in the studio: creating the master model, silicone forms removal, copies of model casting in wax and ultimate refinement in the metal. The only thing that happens outside the studio - is the metal casting directly, I do not do this part. It is carried out by our vajra brother.
Despite the fact that I have a lot of experience in the foundry, this phase of the product requires large area, power consumption and time. In my workshop at the moment it is impossible to unite allthe stages.
Creating the master model - is creative, but laborious and hard process. It includes a selection of theoretical materials (drawings, measurements, verbal descriptions from Tibetan texts, consultations with specialists in Buddhist images area), and a further embodiment in the most suitable material.
I use whole sections of iron-stony Semchanskiy meteorite. While making meteor blades, oriental masters ritually thrown into the crucible of molten metal piece "heavenly metal", then announced this alloy "meteoric iron". I use pure meteorite. On the photos you can see my original inhomogeneous structure of the meteorite, the beauty of which I try to allocate as much as possible. This "heavenly pattern" can not be reproduced on Earth, in spite of modern technology.
